The good, the bad, and the unexpected

Staying in this historic hacienda was captivating, steeped in 500 years of Mexican history. The unique architecture and manicured gardens simply delighted us. However, it was disappointing to experience a lack of air conditioning, making our nights rather uncomfortable. Inconsistent dining service added to our frustrations but the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings were highlights.

Had a fantastic stay for 4 nights in a twin room. The room was spacious with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. The outdoor swimming pool was huge, with various depths, perfect for both kids and adults. Massage services were also available. Great spot for families!

The local food was a highlight—be sure to indulge in the cochinita for a flavor bomb! The gardens were stunning, and the large pool was perfect for lounging and splashing around.

No AC made our room a sauna, and the restaurant's dinner offerings were less than exciting. The access road needs some serious TLC—those potholes could swallow a small car!

We spent three wonderful days here! The giant pool for both kids and serious swimmers was a hit. The beautiful gardens and the little farm with rabbits kept the kids entertained, making our family getaway nice.

This place suits me perfectly! Free wi-fi, a great pool, and attentive staff always make my stay enjoyable. They helped me find my lost barrette on my first visit. Highly recommend indulging in the delicious restaurant. I'm coming back for a city trip!

Our group of friends had an amazing 5-night stay in this beautiful hacienda. The pool was fantastic, and we enjoyed horse riding and tennis on-site. The restaurant offered delicious food at great prices. Don't miss Zoofari and Tabachines Golf Club nearby! Highly recommend for fun with friends.

The only downside was some minor delays with room service, which could improve.

The beautifully preserved architecture of Hotel Hacienda Vista Hermosa and its perfectly manicured gardens made for serene strolls, which I greatly enjoyed. The spacious twin room allowed easy access and comfort for my senior needs.

More shaded areas around the pool would be beneficial.

The architecture here is amazing, and walking through such a historic hotel is like stepping back in time! The large pool area is perfect for lounging and soaking up the sun, with lush gardens surrounding you. Plus, the staff, especially our bellboy, shared amazing stories that enriched our stay!

We had an incredible time at this hacienda! The giant swimming pool offered fun for both our kids and us, and the horse riding was a highlight. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable.

In my wife’s opinion, the food could use some improvement.

I stayed in a Twin Room. It was clean and unique, with charming architecture. The beds were comfy, and there was a nice vibe throughout. The view from the room was lovely, giving you that historic hacienda feel. Only downside was it felt a bit small, especially with kids running around. Overall, though, I had a good experience in the room.

Request a room away from reception for a quieter experience, especially at night.
